Dallas Cowboys Injury-Free Through Week 1: “A Testament to Hard Work and Preparation”

Dallas, TX – In what could be a rare stroke of fortune, the Dallas Cowboys have emerged from the first week of the season without any injuries on their roster. With the season still in its infancy, both the coaching and training staff are praising the team’s commitment to preparation and fitness—a bright spot as they look to turn things around following an 0-2 start.

“We’ve got a lot of young blood on this roster, and the guys have really bought into the process,” said Head Coach Mike McCarthy. “Staying healthy is one of the most important pieces of building a successful season, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work these guys have put in to stay fresh and ready.”

The Cowboys have focused heavily on conditioning throughout the offseason, and the results are paying off early. Despite a challenging Week 1 and Week 2 that saw tough losses against the Toronto Black Knights and Kansas City Chiefs, the team remains intact, giving them an edge heading into the grind of the regular season.

A Team Effort in Injury Prevention

Dallas’ Head of Training Staff, Chris Delgado, praised the players and coaching staff for their commitment to health and recovery. “The key to staying injury-free has been a collaborative effort between the coaches, players, and our training team,” Delgado explained. “The guys have done an amazing job sticking to the protocols we’ve set for them—staying hydrated, maintaining flexibility, and focusing on recovery after every practice and game.”

Delgado also highlighted the importance of youth on the roster. “A younger roster brings a lot of energy, and they’ve been eager to absorb the knowledge we give them about taking care of their bodies. It’s refreshing to see such dedication from our younger players so early in the season.”

Building Momentum Moving Forward

With several rookies and young contributors in key roles, including rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders and running back Deuce Vaughn, staying healthy will be critical if Dallas hopes to find its stride in the coming weeks. While the Cowboys may be 0-2, being injury-free gives them a chance to focus entirely on improving their on-field execution.

Coach McCarthy summed up the mindset moving forward: “It’s a marathon, not a sprint. We have to build on the positives—being healthy is one of them. The season is still young, and I believe we’ve got the pieces to turn things around.”

With Week 3 approaching, the Cowboys are focused on carrying their clean bill of health into the rest of the season, giving them every opportunity to compete at a high level without the burden of injuries weighing them down.
